Nikon has made available a new firmware package for its D810 digital camera, namely version 1.10, which fixes a few compatibility problems with some optional flash units, as well as the file numbers that wouldn’t be assigned properly.
In addition to that, the present update resolves some rare events where images wouldn’t record correctly with HDR or the shutter would not be released when the user attempted to take photographs in movie live view.
Moreover, shutter speed, aperture, and ISO sensitivity will be retained properly in the final movie, exposure compensation will deliver the desired results when a negative value is selected, and several other changes detailed in the Release Notes below are to be implemented.
As for installing these updates, first save and run the proper package for your OS. There is a file suitable for Mac OS X 10.6.8 platforms (and later), and one compatible with Windows Vista, 7, and 8.1 operating systems.
Now, simply copy the extracted .bin file onto an initialized memory card, insert it into the camera, and initiate the upgrade from its “Firmware Update” section within the settings menu.
That being said, download Nikon D810 Camera Firmware C:1.10, carefully apply it on your imaging unit, and enjoy the changes that this new release brings about. Also, check our website constantly to be up to speed with the latest updates.
